How to create “New Folder” using keyboard shortcut

Generally we create a “New Folder” using mouse. By right clicking and then going to new and clicking Folder.

But can we create a “New Folder” using keyboard shortcuts? The answer to it would be YES!

To create a “New Folder” by keyboard shortcut- Hold down Alt key + F. Then, let go of Alt key, press W and then press F.

The above keyboard shortcut would work for Windows Xp and Windows Vista.

Windows 7 is much user friendly, so you can simply press Ctrl + Shift + N. This will instantly create a “New Folder” in Window 7.
